FKC Tournament a HUGE success!

I wanted to share an email that I got this morning about the tournament yesterday:

Dear Mrs. Cupples,
Here is a cute pic from the karate tournament. I just loved everyone's smiles!! What a fantastic way to spend a Saturday! You have taught so much to these children and inspired them in so many ways. Thank you for everything!! N.S.


Wonderful families joining together with the commmon goal of creating a close community is what Community Karate Clubs strives for every day. At the tournament I saw a fantastic display of courtesy, determination and good sportsmanship. I am so very proud of everyone who competed, the family and friends that came to watch and everyone who helped out. Thanks to everyone.

Here is the medal breakdown:

KATA

Gold = 5, Silver = 4, Bronze = 4

KUMITE

Gold = 3, Silver = 4, Bronze = 3

KOBUDO

Gold = 3, Silver = 1

STICK FIGHTING

Gold = 2, Silver = 3, Bronze = 7

GRAND TOTAL

Gold = 13, Silver = 12, Bronze = 14

CKC brought 13 competitors to the tournament 6 boys and 7 girls with the ages ranging from 3 years old to 42 years old! What an amazing day! Thanks again to everyone.
