Pictures from Midori Yama Budokai Seminar

CKC was very proud to be invited to attend the Hanshi Baker, Midori Yama Budokai seminar hosted by Kyoshi Jay Haynes at the Family Karate Center right here in Colorado Springs.

Not only did Hanshi Ken Baker teach an amazing seminar for the adult students, but he skillfully managed to break off the younger students and group them with Mrs. Cupples and to teach them some great self-defenses.

I am proud to recognize all 23 CKC Students who attended this seminar; you represented our school honorably and respectfully. I want to thank Kyoshi Haynes for inviting Community Karate Clubs to this exceptional event. I also want to thank Mr. Cupples for taking time out of his training to help CKC students learn at the seminar.

March 23 and 25 Spring Break

Students and families:

D11's Spring Break is the week of March 23rd. I will be holding class that week, HOWEVER, there will be no 3pm class. All 3pm students should attend the 4pm class on 3/23 and 3/25.

March 4th Belt Test

All students in the 5pm and 6:15pm class with 4 stripes will be eligible to belt test on March 4th. Please see Mrs. Cupples with any questions.

Yes, we have karate on Presidents' Day

We have normal classes on 02/16/09!

However, there will be no karate on 02/25/09.
